HCG ProEd Regulatory is seeking an exceptional Presentation Designer/Technician to join our dynamic team. This unique position combines skills in design, networking, audio visual support and client engagement to serve a vital role on our project teams.

 

This position has option to be onsite in our NY, CT, PA offices or fully remote. Must be able to accommodate Eastern Standard hours. The candidate must be able to work independently from their home, and maintain consistent contact with their manager, fellow team members, and their account and scientific team using virtual communication platforms such as Zoom and Teams. May be required to attend select business meetings and events.

 

 

The Graphic Designer/Technician will be trained in the creation and maintenance of presentation slides and graphic materials for FDA Advisory Committee projects under the guidance of our design and project leaders.

  • Design-related responsibilities include establishing the overall graphic style and template for FDA Advisory Committee presentations, transforming existing PowerPoint slides into more compelling visuals, developing PowerPoint charts and graphics from data tables and other client source materials, and most importantly, demonstrating how complex content can be presented more effectively. Additional design-related responsibilities include design and layout of presentations and collateral materials for business pitches, client meetings and other needs.
  • Technical/audio visual responsibilities include setup and operation of HCG ProEd Regulatory’s proprietary slide retrieval and presentation system, which allows presenters to draw from a library of 1,000 slides or more to quickly address questions during rehearsals and at FDA Advisory Committee Meetings. The Graphic Designer/Technician runs this system, projecting slides and scripts for the client team and public audience, and assists in training the client team on the use of this system.
  • Client engagement responsibilities include working collaboratively with scientists and senior leaders from HCG ProEd Regulatory and the client team to develop and revise presentations in real time during one-on-one meetings and group sessions.
  • Provides PowerPoint slide design and formatting services, including complex statistical graphing, data plotting, formatting of tables from clinical study reports, and illustrative figure rendering
  • Working with the client and HCG ProEd Regulatory scientific directors, will redesign and/or format existing slides, design new slides, and format supporting narrative (script) slides
  • Working with Editorial services, responsible for developing and maintaining the project slide template and style guide
  • Responsible for slide indexing and slide retrieval
  • Also responsible for technical support required for rehearsals and formal presentations
    • Initial equipment setup
    • Participation in the training of client speakers and slide callers on the use of the slide retrieval, preview, and projection system
    • Operating these systems during Q&A sessions, Mock meetings, rehearsals, and final AdCom presentations

We are a fast-paced, client-focused, and hands-on team, so the ability to work efficiently and partner with teammates and clients is essential.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years in in graphic design, presentation design, and production
  • 3+ years of HCP pharmaceutical experience 
  • Willingness to travel to 3-4-days on-site meetings (travel approx. 25 percent, may vary depending upon project requirements). Some weekend travel may occur, depending upon project requirements.

SKILLS

  • High level of skill in PowerPoint
  • Additional skill in Adobe CC (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Interactive PDF) and Keynote is a plus
  • Proficiency in Mac OS and Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of Workfront® software is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint is a plus
  • HTML knowledge is a plus

 

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000. This range represents the low and high end of the salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of the Healthcare Consultancy Group in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including, but not limited to, professional and academic experience, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
